Since 2012, the NFL has partnered with St. Jude through NFL PLAY 60, which is the "Official Champion of Play" at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As the League's national youth health and wellness campaign encouraging youth to get physically active for 60 minutes a day, the NFL PLAY 60 initiative helps patients and families at St. Jude cope with serious illnesses through play therapy, peer interaction and other activities.
The NFL does not profit from the sale or auction of
items, packages and experiences via NFL Auction. Charitable contributions
are awarded
by the NFL Foundation to the NFL’s nonprofit partners and many team and
player charities. There are certain fixed costs associated with specific
items, packages and experiences listed and sold on NFL Auction: VIEW
THEM HERE. For some campaigns,
including Crucial Catch (cancer awareness), Salute to Service (military
appreciation) and My Cause My Cleats (player cause), the NFL does not subtract
any costs and donates the full sale price in its entirety. At no time
does the NFL retain any profits generated by the sale or auction of items,
packages and experiences on the NFL Auction platform.
