The National Football
League (NFL) Foundation is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to improving the lives of those touched by the game of football –
from players at all levels to communities across the country. The NFL Foundation and its members, the 32 NFL clubs, support the health, safety and wellness of athletes, youth football, and the communities that support our game
The NFL does not profit from the sale or auction of
items, packages and experiences via NFL Auction. Charitable contributions
are awarded
by the NFL Foundation to the NFL’s nonprofit partners and many team and
player charities. There are certain fixed costs associated with specific
items, packages and experiences listed and sold on NFL Auction: VIEW
THEM HERE. For some campaigns, including Crucial Catch (cancer
awareness), Salute to Service (military appreciation) and My Cause My Cleats
(player cause), the NFL does not subtract any costs and donates the full sale
price in its entirety. At no time does the NFL retain any profits
generated by the sale or auction of items, packages and experiences on the NFL
Auction platform.
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
In celebration of its 26th year, the NFL Foundation is partnering
with the NFL Legends community to host an 18-hole golf tournament at Golf
Club of Houston, home course to the PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open. As part of
the festivities celebrating Super Bowl LI, "Legends on the Links"
will be played on two separate courses, the Tournament Course, which hosts
the PGA Tour event annually, and the Member Course, where the PGA Tour played
from 2003 through 2005. The event also provides the opportunity to play
alongside true NFL Legends and the chance to win memorable prizes

The event will be an 18-hole scramble tournament across two
courses with each foursome captained by an NFL Legend. This exclusive event
will provide a unique engagement opportunity to connect NFL Legends and raise
money for NFL Foundation
